Is the PS4 HDMI repair the same as PS5?

Almost — both are soldered HDMI ports on the main board, but the connector footprints differ and so do the surrounding components. We stock ports for both PS4 and PS5 in our shop so there's no parts wait.

What if my PS4 had HDMI issues since I bought it?
