PlayStation 5 Standard (Disc) HDMI Port Repair

Mail-in · Locked $149.99 · 14-day turnaround · 90-day warranty

PlayStation 5 Standard (Disc) HDMI port repair by HDMIPorts.com
The PS5 is Sony's flagship current-gen console and one of the most common HDMI port repair candidates we see. The PS5's HDMI port is soldered directly to the motherboard — a single bent pin or hairline crack from a yanked cable can knock out video entirely. We replace the port with a high-grade OEM-style connector, reflow the surrounding pads, and stress-test every pin before shipping back. Same flat $149.99 price whether you have the launch disc edition, the digital-only edition, or either Slim variant — same repair, same bench time, same 90-day warranty.

What a broken PlayStation 5 Standard (Disc) HDMI port looks like

If any of these match your symptoms, you're in the right place.

  • No video on the TV (black screen) but console still powers on with a white LED
  • Video cuts in and out when the HDMI cable is touched or the console is moved
  • Bent or pushed-in HDMI pins visible inside the port
  • Snowy / flickering / green-tinted picture even with a known-good cable
  • Console shows 'no signal' on every TV and every HDMI input tried

PlayStation 5 Standard (Disc) HDMI Repair — Common Questions

How long does PS5 HDMI repair take?
Our standard turnaround is 14 days from when we receive your PS5, which includes 3 days in transit to us, 7 days of bench work, and 4 days return shipping. Most repairs ship back inside 10–12 calendar days.
Is it worth repairing the HDMI port on a PS5?
Yes — at $149.99 flat, repairing the HDMI port is far cheaper than replacing the console (a new PS5 Slim disc is $499). You also keep your installed games, save data, and account.
Do you need my PS5 power supply or controllers?
No — ship just the console. We use shop PS5 power supplies for testing during the repair. Send the console in any small box with about 2 inches of padding on all sides.
What if my PS5 is bent pins plus other damage?
Most PS5 HDMI repairs we do are bent pins on the data lines (DDC/clock lanes). If there's additional motherboard damage — for example, lifted pads or cracked traces — we add a $49 board-level (surgical) fee. We'll never start the repair until we confirm the exact price with you.
Will I lose my game save data?
No. Your save data lives on the SSD or your external drive, not on the HDMI port. The repair is purely physical — we replace the port, reflow the pads, and ship back. Your games and saves stay exactly where they were.
What warranty comes with the repair?
Every PS5 HDMI repair carries a 90-day parts-and-labor warranty. If the new port fails for any reason that's our fault inside 90 days, we fix it free — you pay nothing but the return shipping label.
