Steam Deck LCD HDMI Port Repair
Mail-in · Locked $149.99 · 14-day turnaround · 90-day warranty
The Steam Deck (both OLED and original LCD models) uses a USB-C port for charging, data, and DisplayPort Alt Mode video output. There's no dedicated HDMI port on the Deck itself — you connect to a TV via a USB-C-to-HDMI adapter or a docking station. If your TV shows no signal through a known-good adapter, the issue is usually the Deck's USB-C port or its internal DisplayPort controller. We diagnose and repair both — board-level repair on the USB-C port or, if it's deeper into the SoC, a quote before we proceed. Same flat $149.99 for the OLED or the LCD model.
What a broken Steam Deck LCD HDMI port looks like
If any of these match your symptoms, you're in the right place.

- Scrambled or flickering video through known-good adapter and cable
- Loose USB-C port — cable falls out
- Deck only detects the dock when wiggled

Steam Deck LCD HDMI Repair — Common Questions
Do you repair Steam Deck USB-C or HDMI?
Both — Steam Deck doesn't have a native HDMI port, it outputs over USB-C via DisplayPort Alt Mode. We repair the USB-C port and the DisplayPort controller path.
Will I lose my Steam games and saves?
No. Your Steam library is tied to your Steam account, not the device. Saves sync to Steam Cloud automatically. The repair is purely physical.
How long does Steam Deck repair take?
14-day standard turnaround. We stock OEM-spec USB-C ports for both Deck variants.
What if my Steam Deck has a cracked screen too?
We don't repair screens — we'd route you to a screen-repair specialist. We'll still do the port job if that's the only issue or the main issue.
Do you buy broken Steam Decks?
No — we only do mail-in repairs on the Deck you currently own.
